
Curated by María Bolaños and designed by Ana Alcubierre, this exhibition, titled A Conversation; Chillida and the Arts, brings together some of the influences that the Basque artist had in terms of social and artistic movements between 1950 and 1970. The exhibition was organized by the San Telmo Museoa in Donosti and was part of the Chillida Year.
The idea behind the graphics and promotional elements was to give a sculptural sense to the typography, constructing a lattice framed within a rectangle, like a window that filters the world through which Chillida observes. The chosen typeface family appears rough and rugged, bringing us closer to the visual language of the brilliant Basque sculptor.
