
Naming and branding for a pizza and gourmet pasta chain in Barcelona. The name is a tribute to the Mediterranean family table. Eating pizza should not necessarily mean fast food. The client wanted to get across the idea that pizza and pasta are not necessarily just an easy meal for the sofa on Fridays. The idea was inspired by our grandmothers’ embroidered tablecloths and by cross-stitching. The logo and the use of the restaurants’ utensils will involve the reproduction of decoration and iconography that draw from the sense of ceremony conveyed by tablecloths at major celebrations and important meals.
